6. Conclusion
To sum up, we have tried to structure our approach to the waste problem by developing all the logics that can exist between a highly heterogeneous waste deposit and a significant number of treatment channels.
This systematic approach should make it easier to deal with highly specialized developments in a particular sector, while keeping in mind the more general context of the waste system. We have deliberately focused more on the technical aspects, but it is clear that in the case of waste, perhaps more than in any other field, the economic, regulatory, legal, social, health and psychological dimensions are of great importance and must be given their due place.
