Agriculture urbaine moderne; Modern urban farming
Today, more than half the world's population lives in urban areas. Urban" refers to towns or villages with at least 1,000 inhabitants. A proportion of urban populations develop production systems close to, or within, their urban area. This phenomenon concerns both private individuals and professionals. Here, we define "modern urban agriculture" as the result of this approach.
