Système autonome; autonomous system
A system capable of making decisions on its own and executing them without explicit human intervention.
GNSS (global navigation satellite system)
Satellite positioning system comprising a space segment (satellite constellation), a ground segment (network of control and command bases) and a user segment (receivers responsible for determining their positions and current time). This generic term includes the European (Galileo), American (GPS), Russian (GLONASS) and Chinese (Beidou) systems.
