3.1 How to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
A major effort of creativity and innovation will be required at all levels to imagine and implement appropriate solutions. This imaginative effort is not just about technical innovation, but also about lifestyles and behavior. We need to rethink housing and mobility to better adapt them to climate constraints, introduce new modes of consumption and modify working methods, while trying as far as possible to preserve or improve quality of life, particularly in the case of developing countries. Appropriate regulations must also be put in place on a global scale to limit global warming.
