5. Discussion
This article presents a simple but comprehensive approach for reproducing road traffic on an infrastructure. The LWR model makes it possible to choose the scale of representation according to the desired application, as well as the mode of resolution: analytical approach or use of simulation. This final section reviews the main concepts presented and offers a brief discussion of the operational applications of the LWR model and, more generally, of dynamic traffic modeling.
