2. Dissemination of analysis techniques
The main concepts of vibratory analysis have been around for generations. However, the mastery of vibratory aspects has only developed thanks to the concomitant dissemination of :
finite element analysis software that is inexpensive and no longer requires special expertise to use;
dynamic signal analyzers using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT – Fast Fourier Transform), which are also increasingly economical and easy to use.
The advent of a similar technological revolution in the field of sensors, thanks to thin-film silicon technologies, is helping to accelerate the spread of this trend.
