Bruit magnétique; magnetic noise

Airborne or solid acoustic radiation caused by electromagnetic excitations, not to be confused with electromagnetic noise in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.

Spatial order; wavenumber

Spatial frequency of a flux or vibration wave along the air gap. A spatial order of 2 corresponds to a 4-node wave, with 2 minima and 2 maxima.
