4. Gauss's law is also an "exact" law

It should not be assumed that Gaussian distribution can only be applied when the measurement results are very numerous, as in the previous example. There are many cases where the measurement results are actually distributed according to a Gaussian distribution. In such cases, a limited number of numerical values can be used to estimate the central tendency and dispersion (see the article Estimators and hypothesis testing). ). This is particularly the case when the measurement result involves, usually indirectly, a large number of elementary parameters.
