2. CEN structures

2.1 Political structures

  • Chairman and Vice-Chairmen

    The Association is represented by a President elected by the General Meeting for a period of two to three years. A citizen of one of the CEN member countries, recognized for his experience in the field of standardization, he is normally chosen from outside the national member bodies. He chairs the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.

    The Chairman is assisted by three Vice-Chairmen, respectively in charge of policy, technology and finance, normally chosen from among the Managing Directors of national members for terms of two to three years.
