4. Kinetics of photophysical processes
The kinetics of the various energy relaxation processes absorbed by the molecule are presented in this chapter. Knowledge of the kinetics of energy relaxation processes by radiative and non-radiative pathways enables us to trace the fluorescence quantum yield, taking into account the competition between these energy relaxation processes.
