4. The physics behind weighing
All scale users are familiar with buoyancy, also known as "air buoyancy", but none apply a correction. They all believe that what is displayed by the scale is the actual mass of the body, and that no correction is necessary.
Unfortunately, this is not true, to such an extent that it may call into question the quality of the weighing operation.
