4. Physical properties of the fluid

4.1 Parameters required to calculate the primary element

Determining the flow rate of a fluid using a depressurizer requires knowledge of its density at flow conditions upstream of the device and, in the case of a gas or vapour, its isentropic coefficient. The viscosity of the fluid is also required, whatever its type.
