4. Checking industrial pressure meters

The purpose of calibrating industrial meters (turbine, rotary piston and ultrasonic meters) under pressure, rather than at atmospheric pressure, is to validate the meter's operation under operating conditions. Various standards (12 480....) allow calibration to be carried out using dry air or natural gas.
