7. Driving assistance evolution
The future of driver assistance systems is particularly difficult to predict. Among the unknowns is the willingness of drivers to pay the price for systems based on increasingly complex and costly technologies. While this willingness is often perceptible when the services provided concern comfort or mobility, it is not a given when it comes to safety-related services, which are often considered by drivers to be an entitlement, and therefore have to be "offered".
