2. LAN / Ethernet network
2.1 General principle
Each BMS (centralized technical management), BMS/energy, signaling and ticketing application, generated or originating from the servers, switches and hubs located at the PCC (respectively at the Elsau depot), requires a LAN/Ethernet network which, depending on the needs expressed, must be present in all stations.
The various types of service required to operate Line B are as follows:
an IP-type Ethernet segment for BMS/energy ;
an IP-type Ethernet segment for the GTC suite link ;
an Ethernet II (Ethway) segment for signaling ;
an Ethernet II (Ethway) segment for the BMS ;
