2.1 Functional architecture of an application
Example
Let's take the case of a fluid level control application in a tank with constant leakage (figure 1 ), where the role of the control system (a control station) is to control the fluid level on the basis of the measurement taken by an analog sensor. This is a command to be executed periodically, the action of which is to adjust the opening of the reservoir supply valve.
This basic function is complemented by two additional tasks:
