7. Conclusion

Thermometric titrimetry has proved to be an excellent method for the analytical and physicochemical study of solutions in aqueous, organic and even multiphase media. Compared to potentiometric methods, the use of thermistors opens up a wider range of applications. In this respect, the example of the determination of acid fractions in petroleum is particularly telling. Thermometric titrimetry could be used for all operations in liquid or fluid media when certain electrochemical methods cannot be used. It is certainly a pity that this method remains little-known, especially given the low cost of the equipment.
