3. Thermoconductimetry applications and main fields of application

Thermoconductimetry has many applications in thermal analysis and non-destructive testing. Any physico-chemical transformation leads to a change in most of its physical properties, including its electrical conductivity. To detect a physico-chemical transformation, this parameter simply needs to be monitored as a function of temperature.

In the field of non-destructive testing, monitoring the electrical conductivity parameter can reveal defects in the crystal lattice or the presence of impurities. Here are just a few examples of the most frequently used applications.
