7. Application of the EURACHEM method

Uncertainty calculations can be carried out, as suggested in the EURACHEM/CITAC guide, using an approximate method published by Kragten. The spreadsheet application is very simple and is presented below.

This method makes it possible to estimate the compound standard uncertainty without using partial derivatives to determine the values of the sensitivity coefficients.
