With the advent of increasingly sophisticated new technologies, the medicinal substances made available to patients are prepared with the aim of achieving greater specificity and lower toxicity. Nonetheless, classic production tools such as synthetic chemistry are still used today, and all the means used to obtain drugs are often complementary.
