5. Conclusion
This paper presents an original application of an innovative technology to solve a problem centered on objects from the past, but it certainly hints at prospects for present-day objects, and the recurring question of product marking. Here, we have a technology that can non-destructively identify the trace element content of an object, without this information being decoded by any other device. It's easy to imagine other applications for identical problems, such as the question of an object's originality and the attempt to make a copy.
Despite the cumbersome nature of the equipment used, the technology remains accessible to the greatest number of people through the ARCANE technology transfer structure, which is attached to the laboratory, and whose mission is precisely to promote and facilitate the use of these techniques through the provision of services....
