4. Application to pharmaceutical analysis laboratories

This example illustrates an interesting feature of the method. In view of the large number of business sectors, which can make its application complex, it offers the possibility of working in stages.

4.1 Defining business sectors

The activity of this laboratory is the physico-chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products for a large pharmaceutical company.

The laboratory employs 20 people, and the project group comprised the laboratory manager, a technical assistant, the physical chemistry laboratory safety correspondent, the laboratory safety correspondent and a preventionist.
