2. Interlaboratory analyses

2.1 Classification

In fact, interlaboratory analyses will provide access to these various fundamental criteria: precision or measurement of the dispersion of measurements, which will be used to express uncertainty, and accuracy, the calculation of which requires knowledge of a deviation from a conventional reference value. Hereafter, we will refer to any experimental study involving the participation of several laboratories as an interlaboratory analysis. However, a distinction must be made between different types, depending on the objectives pursued.
