3.1 Wheels – axle
The monoblock railway wheel (EN 13979-1 standard and UIC 510-5 OR sheet) consists of three parts (figure 15 ):
the hub for the axle-axle clamping;
the tyre comprising the rolling surface and the flange;
the fabric connecting hub and tyre.
