4. Braking grip

4.1 Simplified brake control diagram

In the case of a motorized bogie, electric and pneumatic braking are usually used simultaneously (figure 12 , page 12).

The braking torque setpoint coming from the driver's joystick (manipulator) C com is first shaped according to the operating constraints specific to the type of vehicle in question.
