4.1 Temporal aspects of comfort
The role of time in the perception of comfort appears on three levels:
the time it takes to integrate the information that determines comfort. How does the location of different events (meals, stops, curves, level crossings, etc.) during the journey influence the final sensation of comfort? What weight do the different parts of the journey have on this sensation? In particular, it would appear that events occurring at the end of the journey play a greater role in the evaluation of final comfort (limited memory capacity);
the latency time required to change the sensation of comfort ;
the effect of travel time: is there a cumulative effect...
