5. Enzymes involved in the development of cancer
Cancers, neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes and AIDS are the diseases that have marked the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st in terms of their recent incidence. That said, we must not forget other diseases, some of which have already been mentioned.
