LES

Large Eddy Simulation (LES) is a method of calculating flows which aims to resolve some of the turbulent scales (the large ones) and model the influence of the smaller ones.

MOR

Model reduction methods are receiving increasing attention from the industrial world, and are being used more and more systematically. In mathematical terms, reducing a model consists in retaining from a complete model (containing all the information needed to describe the system under study) only the contributions of certain quantities, those most relevant to the desired resolution of the problem. The reduced-order model (MOR, Roduced Order Mold) thus obtained contains partial information, but sufficient to describe the overall behavior of the object.
