2. Methodology for setting up wood chemistry projects
As part of the "wood chemistry" project launched in 2011, we have contacted around 200 prospects, more than half of whom are manufacturers in the wood processing or chemical industries. 60% of these prospects have either been involved in a project study or in setting up a project.
This approach has led to the setting up of around twenty R&D projects since 2011. The first pilot-scale projects and the definition of the equipment base are scheduled for 2017-2018. The aim is to create several dozen jobs in the Fibres- Energivie (Alsace, Lorraine) and Xylofutur (Aquitaine) cluster regions by 2020-2022.
Our methodology is based on different phases, each of which contributes to the creation of an environment conducive to dialogue and sincere project qualification. We will focus on the managerial aspects of this approach
