2. Weaving preparation
Preparing for weaving involves the many steps required to prepare all the warp threads for placement on the weaving machine.
Figure 1 shows a general diagram of the stages between the raw yarn from the spinning mill and the actual weaving process. It only shows the preparation of the warp, which is much more elaborate than that of the weft yarns. The number of steps depends on the desired woven product. A distinction is made between :
