3.1 Regulations and controls to be stepped up

There are numerous standards relating to ecodesign. In France, the approach is governed by standard NF X30-264. This document provides guidelines for companies wishing to initiate an ecodesign approach. It proposes a pragmatic methodology for implementing the approach, and details each stage of the ecodesign process within the company. It serves as a guide for implementing ecodesign, and helps companies to adopt the approach, the players involved, the tools, and so on.
