Mie-like resonance
Scattering introduced in electromagnetism, revealing a resonant/exacerbated character around certain frequencies when the wavelength in the scatterer is comparable to its size. The vibration of any object (scatterer) can be decomposed on the basis of these eigenmodes (monopolar, dipolar, quadrupolar...). Each of these modes then exhibits resonance(s) at particular frequencies.
