3. Film formation

3.1 Deposition methods

The viscosity of the colloidal solution is well suited to deposition on substrates of various shapes and types. The dip-coating and spin-coating methods enable the production of thin films with adequate thickness control (figure 2 ). These techniques are used at ordinary temperature and pressure, and thickness control is achieved by varying the deposition rate.
