2.1 Hydrodynamic stability study

The hydrodynamic study was broken down into three sub-studies:

  • definition and analysis of the 30-year return swell in the immersion zone to characterize the hydrodynamic movements inducing dimensional forces on the reef structure;

  • analysis of the hydrodynamic stability of the reef under certain swell conditions, taking into account heave, slip and overturning criteria;

  • analysis of water pressure forces on components for structural dimensioning.
