3.1 Temperature control
Precise and effective temperature control during heat treatment of castings is extremely important to avoid the risk of them becoming unserviceable.
While the precision required to reach and maintain the temperature range is relatively easy and well achieved, temperature uniformity throughout the load of parts being processed is much more difficult to achieve, and far from attainable without proper heat distribution inside the oven.
