3.1 Density. Melting temperature

Density
The density of pure nickel is 8.9 g/cm 3 . The density of electroless nickel decreases significantly with increasing phosphorus content (figure 3 ):
a chemical deposit containing 3% phosphorus has a density of 8.52 g/cm 3 ;
a deposit containing 11% phosphorus has a density of 7.75 g/cm 3 .
