7. Use
This technique is used whenever a high level of corrosion protection is required, combined with a high level of automation, for all metal parts, whether aluminum, steel or zinc-coated steels.
A wide range of industries are concerned, from automobiles and household appliances to tractors and metal furniture.
Today, depending on the lens, the thickness deposited can vary from 18 to 28 µm.
It's worth mentioning the use of cataphoresis in colored monolayers, for certain specific parts requiring both corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal, for economic and ease-of-use reasons: black for automotive parts such as oil filters, cardan shafts, windscreen wipers, etc.; transparent and food-grade for tin can lids; brighter colors, red, green, etc., for tractor parts and tools.
