3. Manufacturing launch

Once the raw part drawing has been drawn up, and to prepare for the manufacturing launch of a part (especially for series production), a file will be established which will define: production rates, lead times, acceptance conditions, etc., data which will serve as a basis for drawing up the necessary technical documents:

  • instruction sheets, specifying all manufacturing parameters for the various production operations: melting, molding, coremaking, finishing, inspection;

  • routings, which will indicate all production cost elements: machine time, labor time, material consumption, calibration, etc. ... ;

  • the tooling sheets that will enable us to launch the design and production of all the tooling required for manufacturing.
