12. Numerical example of the influence of a friction coefficient

Friction plays an important role in high-speed forming processes. Indeed, incorrect modeling of friction will inevitably lead to erroneous results in terms of geometry, stress, etc.

In the example shown in figures 21 and 22 , taking into account the correct coefficient of friction perfectly simulates the incorrect filling of a die at the second station of a stamping sequence.
