7. Conclusion

As stated in its objectives, such a study should enable die-cutters and stampers to gain a better understanding of the sources and possibilities of supply, as well as the specific properties of use and processing of NiTi shape memory alloys, in order to better determine the feasibility and economic interest of their use.

The use of AMF by die-cutters and stampers can be envisaged in two ways:

  • manufacture of a part from AMF supplied in the pre-processed state;

  • final heat treatment for education to be carried out or commissioned after manufacture.
