2. Analytical resources

2.1 Dosage in liquid steel

In recent years, an analytical technique for the determination of hydrogen has been developed, involving the use of probes immersed in liquid steel (figure 2 ). The principle is based on the equilibrium that exists between the hydrogen present in the liquid metal and the gas bubbles (nitrogen) that are bubbled through it (figure 3 ).
