3. Dimensioning deep foundations – Norme NF P 94-262
3.1 Application
Standard NF P 94-262 applies in addition to Eurocode 7 for the calculation and dimensioning of deep foundations. For pile design, it is based on standards NF EN 1536, NF EN 12063 and NF EN 12699.
The NF EN 1538 standard applies to barrettes.
More specifically, standard NF P 94-262 covers the design and calculation of deep foundations for buildings, bridges, towers, masts and chimneys, silos and reservoirs, as well as structures supporting cranes and machinery (see NF EN 1990). Calculations are carried out exclusively according to calculation approach 2, and are therefore based on a formalism very close to that of fascicule 62 Titre V (
