3. Examples of correlations
Numerous correlations have been published for soil properties. Many of them exist only in the form of a relationship between parameters, without access to the data studied or even an indication of the corresponding correlation coefficient, and care should be taken when using them. We shall limit ourselves here to a few examples of correlations between soil parameters determined in situ and in the laboratory, for which the experimental data will be presented together with the regression functions between the parameters.
