  • Épaississeurs Filtration

When large volumes of very dilute suspensions need to be filtered, which would require the installation of a large-capacity filter, it is often cost-effective to thicken the suspension beforehand (static or centrifugal decanter, thickening filter, hydro), so that only a reasonably-sized filter needs to be used.

  • Floculants Filtration

If the particles in the suspension are very fine, and therefore difficult to filter, it may be necessary to flocculate them before filtration.
