6. Capture, separation, concentration, storage and recovery
The treatment of CO 2 releases involves a chain of specific steps that can be schematized by the figure 5 . In order to minimize GHG emissions into the atmosphere, CO 2 capture is the first step. There are several possible approaches depending on the operations described below:
