4. Conclusion
C-K design theory is one of the most advanced theories for modeling innovative design reasoning. By distinguishing between the space of knowledge (propositions with logical status) and the space of concepts (propositions without logical status, undecidable), and by modeling the interactions between these two spaces, the theory extends systematic design reasoning, making it possible to conceive of the renewal of functional spaces and design parameters (i.e. technologies). Thanks to the notion of expansion and expansive partition, it accounts for forms of creativity. It helps to overcome the fixation effects that inhibit creativity.
