4. Conclusion
We have presented here a number of techniques used to mitigate denial-of-service attacks. With protection techniques now almost a decade old, it is possible to take stock of what has changed in terms of protection.

One of the most important points is undoubtedly the ever-wider dissemination of attack and protection methods. Whereas 10 years ago, these methods only concerned large companies, today they can be applied to SMEs. This has been achieved through increased competition in this field between operators and cloud-based protection service providers.
Of course, it's not possible to protect private individuals. But they are looking for the best connection at the best price, which rules out paying for a service of this type. As a result, it's not clear that there's a market for protection against lower-intensity...
