8. Conclusion
Various aspects of NFC technology have been developed in this article.
It should be noted that the standards, specifications and business models associated with this technology are not set in stone, and will evolve as it is integrated into consumer electronics and adopted by users.
More and more of the major mobile players are integrating NFC functionality natively into their equipment and operating systems. These players are also working to strengthen the interoperability of this technology within the NFC Forum. These major players include Windows, Google, RIM, Samsung and, most recently, Apple, which, after initially focusing solely on its ApplePay payment service, is now opening up the full range of NFC functionalities on its smartphones.
