5. IS security: services and applications
The "Applications" section presents a range of applications used by private individuals, operators and companies. These applications can be of direct use to users at their workstations (messaging, e-commerce, IP telephony), or can be used to support the network itself (LDAP or DNS directories).
In this section, we sometimes focus solely on how the application works, or on its security aspects (both in terms of vulnerabilities and the security solutions in place), or on both.
