4. Patent analysis (APA) via automated commercial systems (subscription-based)

In this presentation, we'll take as our reference system Matheo-Software, distributor of Patent Pulse, which enables us to search for patents in multiple databases, then perform more or less elaborate analyses on selected corpora (lists, networks, matrices, network of citing and cited patents, automatic reporting, various backups, networking, meaningful extractions from titles, etc.). The system operates on a subscription basis (around €1,000 per year), with unlimited searches and processing.)

Figure 17 shows the system input screen. We'll comment briefly on it before moving on to some processing examples.
